In areas where burning trash is a long-standing practice, legislation may be necessary to induce people to change their ways.  The following are trash burning ordinances enacted by municipalities that local officials may use as examples when creating heir own legislation.  We have included local ordinances of varying length and scope to assist you in finding one that is applicable to your specific situation.
