Working in concert with the Associate Director of Education to implement Illinois and Indiana activity components of the Great Lakes Center for Ocean Science Excellence in Education, updating the curriculum activities and other components on the invasive species educational Web site and Sea Grant's education Web page, coordinating the network of teachers involved in "Fish School" U.S.EPA-funded project, and informing teachers about available resources through marketing and promotion activities. In addition, co-teach educator workshops and coordinate workshop materials, make presentations at professional education conferences, seek out new educational grant opportunities and write grant proposals, and assist in evaluation efforts of education programs.
