Angela is responsible for maintenance of  IISG, SGNIS (Sea Grant Nonindigenous Species), Planning with Power, and  of Illinois Aquatic Nuisance Species Program.

In 1995, she began working with the former Sea Grant Aquaculture Specialist, Dr. LaDon Swann.  Under his guidance, she began learning the ways of the web by working with AquaNIC.  After Dr. Swann left for the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Consortium, she was offered the position as Web Specialist for IISG.
